Thornton's Scout Troop
Our scout troop aims to promote the development of young people so that they can achieve their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities. we run an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training based on the Scout Promise and Law.
We encourage our Scouts to…

Our meeting times:
Scouts are aged 10½ to 14. Our Scout Troop meets on a Thursday between 7.15pm and 8.45pm at Thornton Primary School.
The Scout Promise... On my honour, I promise that I will do my best, to do my duty to God and to the King, to help other people, and to keep the Scout Law.

Beaver Scouts: for 6-8 Year Olds
Mondays 6pm-7pm
Cub Scouts: for 8-10½ Year Olds
Mondays 7.15pm-8.30pm
Scouts: for 10½-14 Year Olds
Thursdays 7.15pm-8.45pm
