Celebrating Marzanna

What a great night! Tonight we learned about the Polish End-of-Winter Tradition of Marzanna, where we made dolls that we layer burnt to celebrate the end of the cold, dark winter, by providing the light and warmth of the emerging spring. We also tried a selection of Polish snacks, with spicy meatsticks emerging as the favourite snack during the vote. Many thanks to Anna and Simon for hosting!
Oh – and that’s the International Badge completed too – well done all!
