Thornton Scouts undertook an evening of Raft Building at the local Doe Park Activity Centre, the Scouts enjoyed an evening on the water learning to power and control a raft they had built themselves followed by games of beam balancing and working as a team assisting each other. Thankfully our previous term of knot tying practice paid off and time spent in the water as opposed to being on the built raft was not down to any failed knot tying.
Credit towards Time on the Water & Adventure Challenge badges was earned by all partaking scouts.
