Thornton's Cub Scout Pack

Cub Scouts can be recognised by their dark green sweatshirts and 60th Thornton Fenn Cubs also wear blue and red neckers. Cub scouts is all about making friends, joining in new activities, visits, playing games and enjoying themselves. As part of Scouting, Cubs will take part in district and county events, camping and public parades.
Fun Cub activities…
  • Cubs take part in lots of fun activities like camping, going on trips, playing games and making things.
  • They enter sports competitions, go camping at least once a year and have visits from interesting people.
  • Other recent activities have included fire lighting, learning about the stars and making water rockets for a competition.

Our meeting times:

Cub Scouts are aged 8 to 10½. Our Cub Pack meets on a Monday between 7.15pm and 8.30pm at Thornton Primary School.

Cub Scouts: for 8-10½ Year Olds
Mondays 7.15pm-8.30pm
Scouts: for 10½-14 Year Olds
Thursdays 7.15pm-8.45pm
